Welcome to NIPOST Stamp ("we", "our", or "the Company"), a web-based application that enables users to purchase and apply digital stamps to their documents, and verify the authenticity of stamped documents. This Terms of Use Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of our web application and associated API services ("Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you ("User", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Services.
1.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use our Services.
1.2 To use our Services, you must register for an account, provide accurate information, and keep your account details up to date.
1.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
2.1 Upon successful registration, you may purchase digital stamps through your user dashboard.
2.2 A digital stamp is a unique, non-transferable identifier that can be affixed to a document to confirm authenticity and traceability.
⚠️ Important Notice:
2.3 Once a digital stamp is vended for use (delivered to your account), it is deemed used, regardless of whether or not you apply it to a document.
2.4 Unused stamps cannot be reclaimed, resold, or transferred to another user.
2.5 It is your responsibility to manage your purchased stamps and use them appropriately.
3.1 Our system provides verification tools for users and third parties to confirm the authenticity of our digital stamps.
3.2 The verification service relies on public verification tokens embedded in the Stamp at the time of stamping. We do not store or analyze your original documents.
3.3 We make no guarantees about the legality or acceptability of digitally stamped documents outside our system.
🏢 Enterprise Features:
Enterprise users have access to additional API functionality for seamless integration with existing systems.
4.1 Enterprise users may access our Services via API by requesting and using an API Key issued upon account setup.
4.2 The API Key is confidential and must not be shared with unauthorized parties.
4.3 Any digital stamp vended via API is immediately considered used, and is deducted from your stamp balance.
4.4 Abuse or misuse of the API, including attempts to reverse-engineer, disrupt service, or circumvent authentication mechanisms, may result in suspension or termination of access.
5.1 All fees for digital stamps or API access are posted on our website and are subject to change without notice.
5.2 All payments are non-refundable once a digital stamp has been bought.
5.3 Failure to pay for services may result in suspension or termination of your account.
6.1 We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the DigitalStampApp platform, including all intellectual property rights.
6.2 You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services or included software.
You agree not to:
8.1 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we detect misuse or violation of these Terms.
8.2 Upon termination, any unused stamp balance is forfeited and no refunds will be issued.
Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data, resulting from your use of the Services.
Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
